My name is Amy. I’m the wife of a brilliant and wonderful man, and the mother of four kids: Bennet is five and just started homeschool kindergarten. Lisel is 4, Josephine is 2 and Matthias 1. I work part time to support the family while my husband works hard earning his Mechanical Engineering degree. Our goal is to serve missionary aviation through providing engineering for airplane modifications (like doing the math behind a new lighter weight seat, or designing a landing gear that can handle jungle ground conditions, for example). DH stays home with the kids during the 20 hours a week that I work, so homeschooling and most of the “mom” duties are shared. God provides so amazingly for our family that this 20 hours provides what we need to live, and even thrive, during this season of life.
